INSURANCE INSPECTION

Insurance Inspections

We perform inspections for potential home buyers, and for Insurance Company renewals. Insurance companies now require an inspection after 20 or 25 years, depending on who you are with. they want to mitigate their exposure obviously so they require your home either passing or failing an inspection to make sure they have covered their exposure.

In the case of a potential home purchase, its always wise to have a qualified roofer to inspect the roofing. Even though most home inspectors perform a cursory inspection of the roofing, unless there are giant obvious holes in the roof? its most likely they would miss many important aspects that only a roofer will catch or even know to look for... there is no substitute for experience, and roofing is highly specialized! the sad truth is that most "home inspectors" never even put a ladder to the gutter, let alone get up on the roof and look it over, and even if they did? it's highly unlikely they would even know what is good, bad or somewhere in the middle... imagine having a GP perform heart surgery, that's not going to result in the best results or a long lifespan! same idea in roofing...
